Changing Colors
11-5-08
I love
the autumnal season
with the leaves
changing their hue,
and how
the political landscape
has gone from
red to blue.

Great work, John. Great depiction of changing seasons, litrally and metaphorically.
Hey, great little poem. Nice work.
Does this mean I can get back on Party Poker now?
Well done, caught the mood perfectly.
neon, we can only hope! thanks for reading.
Linda, I appreciate your kind words and thanks so much for the visit.
moanie,
Thank you, and I hope this election will help restore some of our relations with countries across the pond since, in my opinion, the lame duck we have right now couldn't have butchered things any worse. Oh wait... he's still there until Jan.20.
Thanks for the visit and kind words.
Great poetic observations. I'm glad too! Congratulations on making David's Post of the Day list.
Cheers!
Lee
Aaah very clever. Very good. Well written.
@Lee and crazycath:
I write mostly about my poker playing (and not too well) so it's great to hear such wonderful comments like yours.
And also, David, thank you for adding me to the POTD and putting me in the company of such great writers.
This one cracked me up. Wonderful!
